Online Banking
You may use this service to transfer funds to or from an HSBC account and another personal account in your name at another U.S. financial institution or an approved service provider investment account, through the Internet. Transactions may be scheduled to occur one time, for a future date, or recurring. Not all types of accounts are eligible for the Bank to Bank Transfers service.
You understand and agree that in the event we are unable to execute your Bank to Bank Transfers request utilizing the ACH, we may utilize other established payment mechanisms in order to complete your funds transfer instructions, such as wire transfer or check. We may from time to time make available additional or new features to the Service, including but not limited to, a next day service and a higher limit service. You will be approved or declined for any such additional service at our sole discretion and additional terms and conditions may apply. Please ensure that you have sufficient funds to effect any Bank to Bank Transfers from your Accounts. We may at any time decline to effect any Bank to Bank Transfer that we believe may violate applicable law. The provisions in this section apply only to electronic funds transfers that debit or credit a consumer’s checking, savings or other asset account and are subject to the Bureau of Consumer Financial Protection’s Regulation E (“EFT”).
